Judy Davis is an Australian Actress best known for her Academy Award nominated performances in A Passage to India and Husbands and Wives. In 2017, she was nominated for the Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited Series for her work in the television series Feud.
Davis is a 1977 graduate of the National Institute of Dramatic Art, where she starred alongside Mel Gibson in Romeo and Juliet. She went on to win the BAFTA Awards for both Best Actress and Most Promising Newcomer for the 1979 film My Brilliant Career. She won two AACTA awards for the 1981 films Winter of Our Dreams and Hoodwink. She then went on to success in a Passage to India and Husbands and Wives, among other roles in films such as Barton Fink, Marie Antionette, and The Dressmaker.
