Josh Ritter is a singer-songwriter and guitar player from the United States who was known one of Paste magazine's "100 Greatest Living Songwriters." He began his studies in neuroscience at Oberlin College before switching to a self-created traditional music major.
Josh Ritter (1999), Hello Starling (2003), The Animal Years (2006), Golden Age of Radio (2000), and The Historical Expeditions of Josh Ritter are among his albums (2007). So Runs the World Away, his most recent album, was published in May 2010. Bright's Passage, Ritter's 1st novel, will be released by Dial Press in the summer of 2011.
