In March of 2008, Josh Deckard created Forward Thinking Strategies, a company development firm. FTS works with local and international enterprises, as well as other groups, to help them expand and enhance their communication effect. Mr. Deckard was the Assistant Press Secretary to President George W. Bush before founding Forward Thinking Strategies.
He was the press office's longest-serving employee, having worked there from 2002 to 2007. Deckard handled media operations in the White House, including major foreign summits and national addresses, as well as nationally broadcast press conferences at the White House, Camp David, and elsewhere.
