Jordan Alam is a writer doula and activist whose focus is on health and healing. Her work operates at the intersecting identities both of and beyond race class sexuality and gender. Jordan is the founder and a current editor of Project As[I]Am an online Asian American social justice publication.
A recent graduate of Barnard College and is currently working on a novel about the effects of trauma that has passed through generations and across borders to one Bengali American family. Some of her previous fiction and articles have been featured on The The Rumpus.net and BlackGirlDangerous.org.
