Since 2008, Jonathan Ryan has been the Managing Director of the Immigrant and Refugee Center for Education and Legal Services (RAICES). In Central and South Texas, RAICES offers free and relatively low cost legal services to underprivileged immigrant children, families, and refugees.
He previously served as a staff lawyer at American Gateways, where he assisted in the establishment of the Legal Orientation Program for adults detained by DHS. Jonathan holds a Bachelor's degree from Columbia College in New York and a law degree from the University of Texas. He joined RAICES in 2004 as 1 of the only 4 employees.
