Jonathan Roumie is a professional actor and voice-over artist who has spent years working in virtually every area of film, tv, theater, and voice, both in the mainstream media as well as the Faith-based genre.
He is currently playing Jesus in the first multi-season series about the life of Christ called The Chosen, which is the highest crowdfunded media project of all time. Previously, he donned the sandals of the character of Christ in several other films, including The Two Thieves, a multiple award-winner; for an International, touring multi-media project about the life of St. Faustina; and for live performances. In addition to working on The Chosen, Roumie has voiced several video games. When not acting, he's busy making music and playing with various bands. He recently wrote a single that was released in Europe for an original album he co-produced.
