Jon is a private pilot with over 1,000 hours of flight experience and an electronics entrepreneur. He founded both Detroit Aircraft and Nextronix Inc., which specializes in PCB design, manufacturing, and contract assembly. In collaboration with Motorola and Wieson Technologies, Jon has created various car multi-band Intelligent Transportation System Antennas.
He is also the creator of Detroit Air Racing Inc., which helped organize the 2008 Detroit Red Bull Air Races, which generated over $100 million in economic effect for both Detroit and Windsor, Ontario, over three years.
