Dr. John Silvanus Wilson Jr. has dedicated more than 25 years to the progress of socially conscious and meaningful education; student success; and the good that comes from higher education as an advocate for the intrinsic value of education for all.
He has moved universities and organisations forward with his efforts and vision as a scholar, educator, consultant, strategist, and fundraiser. Dr. Wilson became the 11th president of Morehouse College, the nation's only private, liberal arts organisation dedicated to the education of African American males, in January 2013. Prior to that, President Barack Obama appointed Dr.
