John Rooney is an American sports broadcaster best renowned for his work as a play-by-play newscaster for the St. Louis Cardinals of Major League Baseball. Louis from the Chicago White Sox, where he invested eighteen years (1988-2005) – one in TV and seventeen in the radio station. Following the White Sox's World Series victory in 2005, John had the opportunities to work with the World Champion Cardinals in back-to-back seasons.
