John began his stand-up career in college, performing at Boston-area comedy clubs, before returning to New York and soon establishing himself as a regular at venues such as Comic Strip Live and Catch A Rising Star. Off-Broadway, John appeared in Moliere's The Flying Doctor and The Imaginary Cuckold.
He's also appeared in the Actors Studio's performances of The Seagull and Long Day's Journey Into Night. John has recently been signed to make an independent film called The Basketball Story, in which he portrays a former Junior Varsity basketball player who gets a chance to go one-on-one with his High School rival 15 years later.
