John has spent the majority of his 35-year professional life in the movie industry working on tv ads, lately as Target's Head of Broadcast Production for thirteen years. He started his career in a movie as a t.v audio developer in LA after earning a college degree in theatrical design.
In 1985, he restored to his Twin Cities roots as well as worked as an associate producer for a production house for 10 years. His preferences shifted to advertising in 1995, and he worked in a wide range of ad agency executive production roles before landing at Target in 2002.
