John Lair started training in Special Olympics over 21 years back yet knew from an early age about the significance of sports. He put on his first uniform gaining his letter coat and winning two state title trophies for the Pittsburg people group. With exercises gained from sports Lair would exceed expectations on and off the playing field.
After secondary school Lair chose to end his games vocation and spotlight on getting his degree from Pittsburg State University and a Master's from Missouri Southern. While at Pittsburg State University Lair took a recreational treatment class where the teacher offered additional credit to any individual who chipped in at the neighborhood Special Olympics Spring Games.
