John Gregory Huarte (born April 6, 1944) is a former quarterback in the National Football League. In 1964, he earned the Heisman Trophy as a member of the University of Notre Dame football team.
Between 1965 and 1975, he played professionally for several clubs in the American Football League (AFL), the National Football League (NFL), and the World Football League (WFL). In 2005, Huarte was elected to the College Football Hall of Fame.
