Nucor Corporation's President, Chief Executive Officer, and Chairman are John. Mr. Ferriola began his career with Nucor Company in 1991 as the Manager of Maintenance and Engineering at the Jewett, Texas bar mill. He was appointed General Manager of Nucor's Grapeland, Texas joist manufacturing division in 1995.
Later that year, he was designated Vice-Chairman as well as General Manager of Nucor's bar mill in Norfolk, Nebraska. He was Vice Chairman and Managing Partner of the Crawfordsville, Indiana sheet mill from 1998 to the finish of 2001. John was assigned Senior Vice President in January 2002 and Chief Operating Officer of Steel Making Operations in Sept. 2007.
