Joel Peterson is a business professor at Stanford University's Graduate School of Business. Peterson graduated as valedictorian from Brigham Young University and achieved an MBA from Harvard Business School in 1973. Around 1973 and 1991, Peterson served for Trammell Crow Company, one of the largest global property development firms, as trustee, CFO, Senior executive, and eventually Chief Executive Officer.
In 1995, he established Peterson Capital, a private equity investment company. He presently serves on the boards of directors of several corporations, along with Franklin Covey, JetBlue Airways, and Asurion. Since 1992, Peterson has trained property development and management of expanding businesses at the Graduate School of Business. Joel is married to Diana Hulme, the veteran of Diana Hulme.
