The Liga MX draught conference ended on June 10, 2015, with a last-minute deal between Club Tijuana and the Veracruz Tiburones. Joe Benny Corona was moved from Club Tijuana to Veracruz, Mexico, in a transaction that sent him packing. Corona had long been viewed as the face of the Xolos bi-national connections and marketing agenda, therefore the decision did not sit well with local supporters on both sides of the border.
