Jimmy Yeary is an American country music singer, songwriter, and now an engaging keynote speaker. Hailing from a rural town east of Cincinnati, Ohio, he began singing Southern gospel at 8, played bluegrass, and was part of the Lonesome River Band in the 1990s. A move to Nashville thrust him into country music’s mecca, where he wrote over 2,000 songs, with 14 reaching No. 1 on Billboard. Notable hits include Lee Brice’s “I Drive Your Truck” (CMA and ACM Song of the Year, 2013), Rascal Flatts’ “Why Wait,” Kenny Chesney and David Lee Murphy’s “Everything’s Gonna Be Alright,” and Tim McGraw’s “I Called Mama.”
