Jimmy Casas is an acclaimed educator, keynote speaker, bestselling author, and leadership coach with over 30 years in education, including 22 years as a school leader. He served 14 years as principal of Bettendorf High School in Iowa, where his leadership earned the school recognition as one of the nation’s best high schools three times by Newsweek and U.S. News & World Report. Named the 2012 Iowa Secondary Principal of the Year and runner-up for the 2013 NASSP National Secondary Principal of the Year, Casas was invited to the White House in 2014 to speak on the Future Ready Schools pledge and received the 2015 Bammy Award for National Principal of the Year.
As CEO of J Casas & Associates and ConnectEDD Publishing, he coaches educators nationwide, emphasizing school culture and leadership. His books, including “Culturize: Every Student. Every Day. Whatever It Takes” (2017) and “Recalibrate the Culture” (2022), provide actionable frameworks for fostering excellence and positive school environments.
