Jim Starlin is a comic book artist and author known for his cosmic stories and space screenplays. Starlin is also given credit with reimagining the Marvel Comics protagonists Captain Marvel and Adam Warlock, as well as generating or co-creating Thanos, Drax the Destroyer, Gamora, & Shang-Chi, Master of Kung Fu.
Starlin got his recess in Marvel Comics in 1972 after composing and drawing stories for several fan articles published. Starlin's first job at Marvel was as a playmaker on The Amazing Spider-Man webpages. He then began drawing three aspects of Iron Man, introducing Thanos and Drax the Destroyer.
