Jim Lucas is well known across the nation for his intriguing and dramatic recitations and interpretive readings depicting the life and times of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Jim Lucas is a student of the teachings of Dr. King, and also an advocate of his philosophy of non-violent civil action to affect social change.
Lucas attended the 20th Anniversary of the March in Washington in August 1983. It was during this march that Lucas got the inspiration to learn and later recite Dr. King's speeches. He has since then traveled through out the United States, Japan, and Korea delivering various renditions of Dr.
