Jim Knox is a wildlife expert and Curator of Education at the Beardsley Zoo. As a wildlife expert Knox expertly delivers exceptional presentations which directly contribute funding to conservation initiatives for critically endangered wildlife. He has delivered over 3000 presentations about wildlife including as a TEDx Speaker and guest lecturer at the University of Connecticut.
Knox draws on a wealth of knowledge and experience as a conservationist who has studied Black rhinos lions and Great White sharks in Africa and a field researcher studying Alaskan Brown Bears. He shares his passion knowledge and expertise about wildlife and conservation in the media as well. Knox is the former host of PBS television
