Jerry verDorn is an American soap opera actor best known for his roles in Guiding Light and One Life to Live as Ross Marler and Clint Buchanan, respectively. verDorn is one of Guiding Light's longest-serving cast members, having first appeared in the role on March 23, 1979, and playing Ross for nearly 26 years.
In 1995 and 1996, he received Daytime Emmy Awards for Best Supporting Actor. Ver Dorn also played Ross in The Cradle Will Fall, a 1983 television movie based on a book that included numerous Guiding Light characters in supporting roles.
