Jeret Speedy Peterson, a World Cup aerial skier from Boise, Idaho, skiing out of Bogus Basin, was born on December 12, 1981. He earned silver at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, making him a three-time Olympian. Peterson won four World Cup races in aerials and was on the podium in nine others during the 2006 season.
