Jeremy Bird

Jeremy Bird is a co-founder of 270 Strategies and a long-time grassroots organizer with extensive expertise in domestic and international politics, labor, and policy. He co-founded 270 Strategies after most recently working as the National Field Director for President Barack Obama's re-election campaign in 2012, where he was primarily responsible for developing a countrywide army of staff and volunteer organizers.

Rolling Stone magazine dubbed Jeremy the campaign's "Field General," and he has been described as "a former Harvard divinity student who turned to political organization as though it were his greater calling." He is credited with helping to build a ground game and turnout machine in 2012 that “reproduced - by raw force, devotion, and will – a turnout in the swing states that in some cases bested the campaign's stunning performance four years ago.” Since 2007, Jeremy has served in a variety of critical leadership capacities in support of President Obama, including serving as the South Carolina Field Director during the 2007-08 primary campaign and as the Ohio General Election Director in 2008.
