Jennifer Gefsky Biography

Jennifer Gefsky is Co-Founder of Après, a digital recruiting platform that connects high-caliber women looking to re-enter the workforce with diverse job opportunities, launching in spring of 2016. Jennifer worked a variety of jobs to pay her way through college and law school. After graduating, she became an Associate at Proskauer LLP in New York City, where she practiced labor and employment law and was placed in the firm’s prestigious sports practice. Jennifer then went to Major League Baseball as Deputy General Counsel and was the highest ranking woman on the “baseball” side of the business. She was later promoted to Vice President and Deputy General Counsel and, at age 30, was recognized as a “40 Under 40 rising star” by Crain’s New York Business. After almost a decade at MLB, Jennifer “retired” to raise her three children. She and her family live in Chappaqua, NY.
