Jen Doll's first book Save the Date explores what she has learned about relationships friendships marriage love and herself through 17 key weddings in her life. Though she moved around quite a lot as a kid her formative childhood homes were in the suburbs of Chicago (Downers Grove Illinois to be exact) and Decatur Alabama.
In former career iterations she has been a senior writer at The Atlantic Wire a staff writer for The Village Voice and the managing editor of the sadly defunct Radar magazine. As a teen she had a poem published in Sassy magazine.
