Jeff co-founded CCMP Capital, $12 billion successor to JPMorgan Partners,JPMorgan Chase & Co’s global private equity firm. He was CEO of CCMP for 25 years. He was also Vice Chairman of JPMorgan Chase & Co. and Chairman of the JPMorgan Chase Foundation. He co-authored the book The Generosity Network, and currently serves as the Vice Chairman of the United Nations Envoy’s Office for Health Finance and Malaria.
Jeff serves on the Boards of New Profit, Berklee College of Music, Morgan Library, Lincoln Center Film Society, The Miller Center, and the UVA Undergraduate Business School. He is Co-Founder and Co-Chairman of The Quincy Jones Musiq Consortium, Chair of The Council of Foundations at UVA, and serves on the Visiting Committee at Harvard Business School. He also serves on advisory boards at MIT, UCLA, UVA, Columbia, Brookings and others, and is Co-Founder and the former Chairman of nPower.
