Nike, Inc. presently employs Jeanne Jackson as its President, Direct-to-Consumer. Jeanne joined Nike in March 2009, after serving on the Board for seven years, to lead the company's worldwide operations in retail and eCommerce. Jeanne operated her own private equity investment firm, MSP Capital, during that time, and she also sat on the boards of Nordstrom, Inc. and Harrah's Inc. She has also served on the Board of Directors of McDonalds, Inc. for over ten years and continues to do so as Chair of the Finance Committee and a member of the Governance Committee. Jeanne is also the President of the Board of Trustees of the United States Ski and Snowboard Association, which governs the United States Olympic winter sports teams. She has previously served on the Harvard Business School Board of Dean's Advisors. Jeanne has worked in retail and marketing for almost 30 years. Prior to establishing MSP, Jeanne served as President and CEO of Walmart.com, an independent firm with an eCommerce license from the world's largest retailer. In the fall of 2001, Wal-Mart shops purchased the company. Prior to joining Walmart.com, Jeanne was President and CEO of two Gap, Inc. divisions: Banana Republic and Gap Direct, the internet and catalog arm for all three Gap, Inc. brands: Banana Republic, Gap, and Old Navy. Prior to joining the Gap, Jeanne worked at Federated Department Stores, Saks Fifth Avenue, The Walt Disney Company, and Victoria's Secret, where she gained experience in retail brand development. Jeanne has been named one of Business Week's "Top 25 Managers of the Year," featured three times in Fortune's "The Fifty Most Powerful Women in American Business," and named one of Vanity Fair's "America's Most Influential Women." She also received the National Foundation of Women Legislators' 1998 "Woman of Achievement Award," and she was just named Corporate Director of the Year by the Orange County Business Roundtable.
