Jean Louisa Kelly is best known for her roles in the feature films Mr. Holland's Opus Uncle Buck and The Fantasticks. She had a starring role in Cold Feet. Her other television credits include Mad About You Law & Order and Homicide. Kelly comes from a musical family and has sung from the time she was little.
She also studied ballet tap and jazz dance. She began performing professionally at the age of 11 in the title role of Annie at the Theater by the Sea in Rhode Island. At 15 she appeared in the original Broadway cast of Into the Woods. She most recently starred in the Reprise! production of Company in Los Angeles.
