Jay received his education at Milwaukee's famous LoDuca Brothers Music Academy. In Los Angeles, he is one of the most in-demand jazz vocalists. He's played at the Vino Jazz Festival, NOLA's, Red, White, and Bluezz, and the Hollywood Studio Bar and Grille, among others. For jazz aficionados in Los Angeles, his voice is becoming a familiar pleasure.
He's also developing a reputation as a recognized jazz historian, with an encyclopedic knowledge of jazz vocal history. He has been a lifelong supporter of the Green Bay Packers.
