Raised in Cleveland Tennessee Bryant was fascinated by colors and textures and began designing at a very early age. Bryant also became an avid classic movie fan and watched classics like The Sound of Music Guys and Dolls Gone with the Wind Gigi My Fair Lady and An American in Paris and it would be these iconic films that would serve as future inspiration. Bryant received critical attention for her work on HBO’s Deadwood and numerous prestigious nominations and awards including several nominations for Outstanding Costume Design for Television Series–Period/Fantasy and for Emmy® awards in 2004 2005 and 2007 for Outstanding Costumes for a Series taking home the coveted award in 2005. Mad Men started a new chapter in Bryant's career. She has received international praise for her work on the series and catwalk collections have been inspired by the looks on the show. Bryant received four nominations for a primetime Emmy® for her work on “Mad Men” (including in 2014) and has won two Costume Designers Guild awards for “Outstanding Costume Design for a Television Series – Period/Fantasy” and was nominated again for another Guild award in 2014 and 2015.
