Jamie Bennett is the executive director of ArtPlace America, a 14-foundation, eight-federal-agency, and six-financial-institutional partnership devoted to advancing the field of creative placemaking. Bennett served as the National Endowment for the Arts' head of staff from December 2013 until December 2014.
He previously served as chief of staff at the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs during Mayor Bloomberg's administration, as strategic counsel at the Agnes Gund Foundation, as chief of staff to the president of Columbia University, and as a fundraiser at the Museum of Modern Art, the New York Philharmonic, and Columbia College.
