James Whitford Biography

James Whitford is the current head coach of the Ball State Cardinals men's basketball program in the United States. Whitford worked as an assistant coach at Miami (Ohio), Xavier, and Arizona before coming to Ball State. Whitford transferred from Miami to Xavier in 2005, where he played four years under head coach Sean Miller before joining Miller at Arizona in April 2009. Whitford was elevated to assistant head coach after his first two seasons at Arizona, a post he held for another two years before taking over as head coach at Ball State in April 2013.
