James Hahn Biography

James Hahn is an American professional golfer who competes on the PGA Tour. He was born on November 2, 1981. Hahn was born in the South Korean capital of Seoul. He attended the University of California, Berkeley, for his collegiate golf and became a pro after graduation in 2003. Before joining the Nationwide Tour in 2010, he performed on the Canadian Tour, Korean Tour, and Gateway Tour. After five top-10 finishes in his first season, he ended 29th on the Tour's money list. He won his first Tour title at the Rex Hospital Open on June 4, 2012, after beating Scott Parel in a playoff - going for the green in two on the critical par 5 since he had a flight to catch. He then boarded an aircraft to California the next day to compete in sectional qualifying for the US Open. Hahn won the tournament and made his major debut in the 2012 U.S. Open.
