James Crabtree is a Senior Visiting Fellow at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy in Singapore and a Contributing Editor at the Financial Times. Until May 2016 James led coverage of corporate India for the FT as Mumbai Bureau chief having previously worked on the opinion page in London as Comment Editor.
He is now on sabbatical at the LKY School where he is a senior fellow at the Centre on Asia and Globalization. His forthcoming book on India The Billionaire Raj will be published by Random House in mid-2018. Before joining the FT James was deputy editor of Prospect Britain's leading monthly long-form magazine of politics and ideas.
