An American comedy duo known as “Jake and Amir” is made up of podcasters and former CollegeHumor writers Jake Hurwitz and Amir Blumenfeld. In 2007, this duo came into prominence when they began writing and starring in the web series Jake and Amir.
The program was later picked up and produced by CollegeHumor, portraying humorous versions of Jake and Amir, where Jake is usually depicted as a sensible “regular guy” and Amir as his annoying co-worker. Jake and Amir started the podcast, If I Were You in 2013, an advice show where listeners email in questions which are answered in a humorous way.
