Freedom House was founded by Jaida Im, who also serves as its executive director. Freedom House, based in the San Francisco Bay Area, is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to provide a secure home and long-term aftercare to survivors of human trafficking.
Jaida inspired a local abolitionist campaign to offer much-needed refuge for trafficking survivors, which culminated in the creation of Northern California's first safe home for adult female survivors of human trafficking. Jaida has over 20 years of experience working in managed care organizations as a healthcare professional and possesses a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Southern California.
