Young has had roles on a number of soap operas. He joined the cast of the CBS soap The Bold and the Beautiful as Rick Forrester from December 31 1997 to September 15 1999.He later joined the cast as Lucky Spencer on General Hospital for three years from February 25 2000 until February 10 2003.
Young won a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Actor for his role on GH in May 2002.Currently Young plays Adam J.R. Chandler Jr. on All My Children -- a role he started playing since October 1 2003. During the 'babyswitch' storyline he also played J.R.
