Jackie Gebel Biography

Jackie is a culinary and travel blogger/photographer located in New York City with a desire to explore the world and share all of the fantastic cuisine and experiences she encounters. She earned her bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management and Marketing from Syracuse University. Jackie learned the ins and outs of many sectors by taking lessons in anything from culinary arts to advertising. She relocated to New York City after college and accepted a position at a social media firm, where she worked on a variety of creative projects for lifestyle companies. Jackie was able to see the future of the food and social worlds colliding there, and she relocated to Tel Aviv to investigate and experience the rapidly changing digital media industry from a global viewpoint. She got a position at a social photography business in Israel, where she helped them launch in the United States. She pursued freelancing employment working with restaurants to enhance their branding and social platforms after returning to New York City. Jackie founded her own company, NoLeftovers, during this time. Jackie obtained a job as a Senior Digital Media Executive + Photographer at Becca PR, a lifestyle and social marketing agency, to merge her passions for the food sector with digital marketing. She managed influencer events/relationships and advised businesses on digital and social branding, including Le Bernardin, Crafted Hospitality, Kappo Masa, and April Bloomfield, to name a few. She currently divides her time between New York City and several places across the world, producing travel guides and discovering the greatest authentic experiences. She's been featured in national ad campaigns for Absolut, Urban Decay, Mashable, and Samsung, as well as engaging with major travel partners, hotel groups, and tourist boards throughout the world.
