Jack White stands as a Grammy-winning singer-songwriter who also plays multiple instruments while being recognized as a leading figure in contemporary rock music. The White Stripes gained worldwide success through their guitar-and-drums minimalism which produced the sports stadium and pop culture anthem "Seven Nation Army."
White Stripes disbanded in 2011 but he started new musical projects by forming The Raconteurs (2005) and The Dead Weather (2009) while launching his successful solo career with six studio albums. Through his distinctive combination of garage-rock blues and punk elements with nasal vocals and analog production techniques White established himself as a pioneering musician.
