Hartung, popularly known as Jack, has been the Chief Finance Officer of Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc., and since September 7, 2010, he has also served as the company's Principal Accounting Officer. Until March 1, 2008, Mr. Hartung was the Chief Development Officer of Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. He joined Chipotle in 2002 following an 18-year career at McDonald's, where he held several managerial roles, including Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Partner Brands Group, where he managed Chipotle's financial operations from December 1999 to August 2002.
