Since 1994, Ira has worked in the sector. In 1999, he relocated from Michigan to Nevada and worked at a Robert Cromeans Salon till 2012. He was voted Top Hairdresser in Las Vegas for the second year in a row. For 12 years, he educated and went all over the world for Paul Mitchell.
Ira was named one of the top 40 platform artists in the country by Be Magazine and was included on Winn Claybaugh's Masters CD. In quest of independence, Ira founded Epic Hair Movement, an independent educational firm, in 2010. He recently started working as the Director of Art at Cotê Hair.
