Imani Hakim Biography

Imani Hakim is an actress best known for her role as Tonya Rock on the UPN/CW sitcom Everybody Hates Chris as well as portraying Olympic gold medalist Gabrielle Douglas in the 2014 Lifetime original movie The Gabby Douglas Story.
Hakim studied acting at Karamu House Theater in Cleveland Ohio. She also studied at Alexander's Workshop School in Lakewood California and at The Young Actor's Space in Burbank California.
Following her first television appearance in Everybody Hates Chris Hakim has also appeared in television series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation The Replacements ER ad Wizards of Waverly Place.
Hakim's filmography includes Reign Over Me The Gabby Douglas Story Sharknado: The 4th Awakens Spoiler Point and Chocolate City and Chocolate City: Vegas.
