Ian Wallace is a visiting fellow in cybersecurity at Brookings' Center for 21st Century Security and Intelligence, part of the Foreign Policy department. He formerly worked as a senior official in the British Ministry of Defence (MOD), where he assisted in the development of UK cyber strategy as well as the UK's cyber partnership with the US.
His research focuses on the international aspects of cybersecurity policy, such as the consequences of cyber for armed forces and the proper responsibilities of the public and private sectors. Wallace's experience covers national security policy and strategy in the United Kingdom and the United States.
