Ian Siegel Biography

Ian founded ZipRecruiter in 2010 with a mission to make hiring easier and now serves as ZipRecruiter’s Chief Executive Officer. ZipRecruiter is an online platform that enables companies to post to multiple free job boards with a single submission and vet incoming applicants through simple-to-setup online interviews creating a truly paperless experience.
Siegel has held Executive Product and Technology Leadership roles at a number of early-stage to mid-size startups including CitySearch Stamps.com Rent.com and Pictage. Additionally Siegal has served as Director of Technology of Viva Group Inc. Chief Product Officer of Mylife.com Inc. as well as Vice President of Product and Vice President of Product & Technology at Pictage Inc.
He holds BA in Sociology from Oberlin College. When Ian isn’t creating the product roadmap and speaking on behalf of ZipRecruiter he is with his wife and kids at the beach or playing his favorite sport soccer.
