Howard C. Kunreuther is the James G. Dinan Professor of Decision Sciences, Business and Public Policy, and co-director of the Wharton Risk Management and Decision Processes Center at the Wharton School. He has a long-standing interest in how society might better manage low-probability, high-impact catastrophes such as technology and environmental disasters.
Professor Kunreuther is a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science as well as a Distinguished Fellow of the Society for Risk Analysis, having received the Society's Distinguished Achievement Award in 2001.
