Hong Jeongdo is the Executive Director of JoongAng Media Network (JMnet), South Korea's largest media company. He is in charge of 25 different types of media, including newspapers, television, and magazines. In 2005, he joined JMnet as a member of the Strategy Planning Office.
In 2010, he oversaw the entire process of changing the newspaper format; it was the first newspaper firm in Asia to transition to the Berliner style and successfully launch an online portal site, Joins MSN.com.
