Former collegiate golfer and rising broadcast star Holly Sonders is a reporter and host for FOX Sports.

Having joined the company in July of 2014 Sonders serves as one of the primary on-air talents for FOX Sports’ United States Golf Association event coverage throughout the year while also performing sideline reporter duties for a package of NFL games and contributing to FOX Sports 1’s flagship studio news programs.

A native of Marysville Ohio Sonders found a passion competing in golf throughout her adolescence winning her first organized tournament when she was just seven years old. She carried that development into high school where she lettered and earned all-league and all-district honors in each of her four years.

Boasting a fantastic academic and athletic resume she received a scholarship offer to Michigan State University to join the school’s highly-regarded women’s golf program. In East Lansing Sonders started all four years for the Spartans earning Academic All-Big Ten honors following her sophomore and junior seasons while also helping lead the team to a Big Ten Conference championship in 2007.

A veteran of 93 rounds during her collegiate career she started in the NCAA Regional tournament three times and competed in the NCAA Championship tournament twice. Sonders is also no stranger to the world-class events of the USGA as she also participated in the U.S. Girls’ Junior in 2004.
