Hit The Lights Biography

Hit the Lights is a pop punk band from Lima Ohio signed to Razor & Tie. Hit the Lights formed in 2003 taking their name from the 1980s skateboard film Gleaming the Cube. Current members of the band include Nick Thompson (lead vocals guitars) Omar Zehery (guitars) Kevin Mahoney (guitars backing vocals) David Bermosk (bass backing vocals) and Nate Van Damme (drums percussion).
This Is a Stick Up... Don't Make It a Murder their first full-length album was released in April 2006 on Triple Crown Records. Three of the tracks that were featured on their previous EP Until We Get Caught were re-recorded for the album. There were guest appearances from Just Surrender Kick Over The Traces and Race The Sun.
Their second full-length studio album Skip School Start Fights was issued in July 2008 by Triple Crown. The album featured guest vocals from Alex Gaskarth of All Time Low on the song “Don't Wait” and Shane Henderson of Valencia on the song “Drop the Girl.” The album peaked at No. 97 on the Billboard 200 Albums chart and at No. 11 on the Independent Albums chart.
Invicta their third LP was released by Razor & Tie in January 2012.
