Hillary Scott is best known as one-third of Grammy-winning country band Lady Antebellum. She was born and raised in Nashville. Scott, the daughter of country performers Linda Davis and Lang Scott, launched her own career shortly after graduating from high school, working with singer/songwriter Victoria Shaw and attempting to land her own record contract.
In 2006, after meeting future bandmates Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood, the three performers began collaborating on songs, which eventually led to the creation of Lady Antebellum later that year.
